Growing up in the height of the diet, hustle, productivity, & “almond mom” culture, millennial women have had to develop a variety of protective strategies to survive all the messages we received about not being good enough.

This resulted in high achieving, people pleasing, perfectionistic tendencies that have left us anxious, depressed, & burnt the hell out.

I chose the name My Kind of Therapy because I am a big believer in finding therapeutic healing in a variety of different ways. Wellness culture has us believing that there is a one size fits all approach to being well - and that looks like sitting on a mountain top drinking matcha lattes and meditating for 12 hours a day. While that may sound lovely to some, it is certainly not sustainable for most of us!

My warm and relational approach to therapy is designed to support you in finding the therapeutic rhythm that supports YOU best.
